In the articles “The Pilgrims” by Leslie May and “Thanks Giving Feast” by Mark Smith they both have similarities about Thanks Giving getting started but they have many differences. In this essay I will explain how Thanks Giving came about with similarities and differences.

These passages have many differences or views of how thanksgiving came to be. For example in  the passage “Thanks Giving Feast” it talks about the pilgrims wearing black suits and buckle hats although in the other passage “The Pilgrims” they wear colorful clothing. Another reason is in the passage ”The Pilgrims” the indians wear one feather head raps. On the contrary  side in”Thanks Giving Feast” by Mark Smith the indians wear hats with multiple feathers. So now you know how the passages “Thanks Giving Feast” by Mark Smith and ”The Pilgrims”By Leslie May have many differences.

In the passages ”Thanks Giving Feast” by Mark Smith and ”The Pilgrims” by Leslie May have many similarities. First they have many hard ships includes decease and 46 pilgrims died. Also,they both get help from indian tribe. Things they helped with were hunting, fertilizing with fish, and identifying poisonous plants. Lastly, they have a feast of thanks. They both ate meats, had a good time, and gave thanks. Those are some similarities in the stories “Thanks Giving Feast” and ”The Pilgrims”.

In conclusion, the articles “The Pilgrims” by Leslie May and “Thanks Giving Feast” by Mark Smith both talk about how Thanks Giving getting started. Now you Know that people have different views of how thanksgiving came to be. These articles have many differences. In summary, this is my essay on these two articles.
